Supernova

This may very well be my favorite outfit of all time. Let me break it down for you:

1. The skirt: I got this skirt for 10 bucks at Urban Outfitters in May and it literally goes with everything! All of my colorful tops, tie dye, floral, and as you see here, galaxy print. Black and white is such a classic combination, and this combination of black and white is just so COOL!

2. The shoes: Do I need to say why? They are just so flattering. Also 10 bucks at Urban Outfitters ;)

3. The sunglasses: I won these glasses on the blog Cheyenne Meets Chanel. I've never owned a pair of sunglasses that cost me more than 10 dollars! I had to look these up online of course, and I was blown away when I saw that they were $180!! I've never spent that much on ANYTHING related to my wardrobe in my LIFE! So I've been very careful with these glasses :)

4. The shirt: THIS SHIRT IS FANTASTIC! When I opened my mailbox two nights ago to find this baby sitting in there, I was so excited! It was handmade by Lauren of the store Echoing Waters. I don't have a creative bone in my body when it comes to designing and making clothes--all I'm good at is matching them together. So seeing all of the t-shirts she handpaints--and the slave bracelets she creates--and the headbands she strings together--I am blown away. What I'd give to be able to make my own clothes! But I can live with wearing those made for me by a friend :)

To prove to you my love for this shirt, I'm going to do something I've never done before on this blog. Wear the same thing FOUR days in a row. That's right, FOUR ways in FOUR days! I'll show you just how versatile and wonderful this shirt is! Don't forget to check out all of the other t-shirts on Echoing Waters. They're cropped tops, but I requested mine to not be cropped. That's another good thing about buying handmade--it's customizable!

Glamorous

Tested my hand at some layering today. Not sure if I like this outfit so much, but I certainly like this dress! Glamorous is a brand that reminds me a lot of Topshop, a more well known brand that's also from the UK. I've had good experience with UK brands before, and Glamorous was no exception! They've sent me 3 dresses, and I'm saving the best for last :) If you want this pretty blue lace dress, you can get it here! I had my first day of my team soccer camp at school today. It's hard to believe that preseason is only 3 weeks away!!! For me, once preseason starts summer is over, since I have to wake up as early as I would for school. I still haven't touched my summer work yet...yikes. The only good thing? Back to school shopping. The BEST time of the year :P Also, did you enjoy the guest bloggers? I'm BACK! And to finish this week of guest posting, I'm going to be guest posting on Dana's blog, Daily Dose of Dana! You can check out my post on her blog here! She was my first ever guest blogger last Sunday, and this weekend I'm returning the favor while she's in Canada!! While Canada may not be the most tropical place, I went all out with my idea of a "vacation" look. The colors, the print of the skirt, and the accessories tied it together in a pretty (bright) and awesome ensemble if you ask me! :)
So anyways. Soccer camp was awesome...ly tough. But I knew it would be. Having 6 hours of soccer a day and only 7 hours of sleep each night, I was SO sore and tired! But now I'm prepared for my team soccer camp which is this coming week and my preseason at the end of August. Do any of you play a fall sport that you're already preparing for?
I'm also so pumped because the Olympics have started! I watched the US Women beat France in soccer on Wednesday, which was awesome. And the Opening Ceremonies were amazing (as always!). Did anyone else think the Queen ACTUALLY jumped at first? Haha! It's unbelievable how much money they spend on the spectacle!
My favorite events are gymnastics and, of course, swimming. If you're in the US (or if you're not but you know what I'm talking about), who do you prefer? Lochte or Phelps? I was bummed to see that Phelps didn't even medal tonight, but glad that Lochte got the gold! Which event is your favorite?
And finally, a little something to make you laugh: The "Call Me Maybe" parody by the US Olympic Swim Team!!! Loove it :)
