Monthly roundup time again! :) May was a busy busy month for me. I can't wait for a laidback June (after exams are over, that is). I have one today, the SAT IIs tomorrow, and then more next week.

It's nearly summer! And what does that mean? Bikinis, sandals, sheer lace tops, wide brimmed hats, sunglasses and...feathers. For me, anyway. Do you wear feathers? As a necklace? Try wearing a feather hair clip--really adds SO much to a simple outfit! Echoing Waters is my favorite place when it comes to feathery accessories! :)

I'm On A Boat

I'm not a sailor. In fact, I hate sailing. This past summer, I went on vacation with one of my best friends and while we were there, she taught me to sail. Or tried to at least--I was awful. That's probably why I hated it so much! I'm the kind of girl who likes the boats that drive themselves. Also, I wouldn't mind having a slide off the back, fruit smoothies, and a waiter. I could also make do with a jacuzzi on deck.

But, you know, since none of that is probable or even possible, I will just have to make due with a nautical blazer and this sailboat-printed dress. Which, by the way, is SO comfortable, SO well made, and SO FABULOUS IN THE BACK. It's probably the 32nd time I'm telling you this but I'm fascinated with cutout backs. This dress has certainly won over the sailor in me.

Just a simple outfit for a dreary Monday morning. The highlights of this outfit are the accessories for sure:

I've worn this ear cuff thanks to silvermason every single day since I got it in the mail last week. I love showing it off--it's so original and VERY stylish! I am officially obsessed with ear cuffs. Also, any Harry Potter fans out there? Check out this ear cuff. Can you say PERFECTION??? :)

I also won these leather bracelets a few weeks ago from a giveaway. They are from House of Kami, all the way in Italy, and I'm having a tough time not wearing them with just about everything! They are literally so perfect and trendy.

Lastly--a Captiv necklace. Here is yet another thing that goes with everything in my closet. The color is great for spring (and also for summer!). Can't wait to wear this gem again and again.

Cotton Candy

The baby blue and pastel pink of this dress remind me of the cotton candy my brother and I used to beg my parents for whenever we were at a fair, baseball game, or something similar. Cotton candy was considerably the best thing ever--after ice cream, of course--because it was the closest thing to pure sugar that my parents would let us eat.  I can remember the yucky feeling when I was done eating--where my hands would stick to everything I touched and to each other. My mouth and face would be stained pink and blue. It was SO worth it, though. Cotton candy is just so good!

I suppose I've got cotton candy on the brain thanks to the perfect weather we've had as of late. Sunny skies, balmy afternoons, and days that last almost past eight, it stays light for so long. It's the kind of weather that's perfect for a baseball game. Are you sports fans? Although I play sports, watching them just isn't enjoyable for me. The only reason I ever went to baseball games with my family was for the food. CLEARLY this girl has her priorities straight ;)

Hello followers, readers, first-timers, friends, and Grandma! To those of you who have blogs....does your grandma follow? Mine is probably my biggest fan. She is constantly asking me when my next "blog" is going up, and telling me how much she loves each one! So, Grandma, thanks for keeping me in the business!  Love you! :)

I'm also in a good mood because I have less than three weeks of school left. Next week is my LAST full week...because after that is memorial day weekend, and that week I have finals! I cannot WAIT for summer. Also, I'm hoping to have my closet room mostly finished by then...I'll be sure to post pictures as SOON as it is done!!! :)
